2. Kigali City
Ideally positioned in the centre of Rwanda, Kigali is a relatively new city. It was founded as an administrative outpost in 1907, and became the capital of the country at independence in 1962. The iconic Kigali Convention Centre (KCC), is the premium events venue in Rwanda since its opening in 2016 and a hugely popular MICE destination in the East African region.
